The National Art Education Association (NAEA) is the professional home for visual arts educators—and we think that’s pretty rad.
Since 1947, they’ve supported teachers across the globe, providing a vital network that empowers them to shape the next generation of creative thinkers. We were so excited to partner with an organization dedicated to such an essential, creative mission.
Vibrant and Playful Design
Art educators deserve a digital space that’s as creative as they are. Working with our fantastic design partners at eighty2degrees, we ditched the dated, boxed-in layout for something that felt truly alive. A vivid color palette, clean typography, and unique design elements come together to create an inspiring and playful interactive place for collaboration.
The Idea
The goal was to build a website as forward-thinking as NAEA’s members. Their old site wasn’t telling their exciting story or making resources easy to find. So we built a fresh site that makes it a breeze for educators to explore everything they offer. The super user-friendly backend also gives the NAEA team the power to easily manage their own content.
The Awesome
We wanted NAEA’s site to be a true reflection of their vibrant, creative community. That meant building features that not only look great but make life easier for art educators. We implemented a gorgeous virtual gallery to put member artwork in the spotlight and a dynamic event calendar that makes finding the next workshop a snap. It’s all about taking the huge amount of work NAEA does and making it fun and easy to explore.
The Site
The final result is a site we’re incredibly proud of. It’s a perfect blend of eighty2degrees’ stunning design and our technical expertise, creating a platform that’s as vibrant as the NAEA community itself. We’re so happy to have played a part in helping them share their amazing work with the world.
