Structural & Story-driven Design
The museum’s major physical renovation was the perfect opportunity to create a digital space that matched its new architectural vision. Our design partners at eighty2degrees did an incredible job translating the museum’s physical transformation into a digital experience, using a bold, brick-themed color palette and clean layouts. Small details throughout the site subtly echo the museum’s arched designs, creating a modern frame for housing timeless artifacts.
The Idea
Our main goal was to match the museum’s new, revitalized physical elements with equally impressive digital ones. We focused on creating a fresh, welcoming online experience that makes planning a visit effortless, while showcasing the museum’s vibrant story. A crucial part of this was giving the JMM team a powerful, easy-to-use backend to keep their content dynamic and engaging.
The Awesome
The new website needed to be more than a brochure; it had to be a destination in its own right. That meant building custom, flexible layouts for their events and updates that make browsing upcoming programs and reading stories an engaging experience. This simple solution turns their website into an essential extension of the museum, where anyone can easily plan a visit, check out upcoming events, or get lost in fascinating stories from the comfort of home.
The Site
This project was a fantastic collaboration between eighty2degrees’ architecturally-inspired designs, our web engineering expertise, and the amazing team at JMM. The result is a dynamic, engaging site that’s ready to help the museum continue their vital work of keeping Jewish stories alive for generations to come.
